Randy Shawn Fisher

Randy Shawn Fisher has consulted with and coached 75+ startups and early-stage companies in the US, Canada, in Europe, Africa and Asia. He is an expert in Customer Discovery, Product/Market Fit, Go To Market Strategy and Investment Readiness. He is co-author of a Customer Discovery Guidebook for Knowledge and Tech Transfer Professionals (to be published by the World Intellectual Property Organization in summer 2026.)

​He developed a partnership with Washington DC Arch Angels (1200 angel investors) to pursue investment and business opportunities. He is formally trained as a business journalist (Canada) and has extensive experience in marketing, communications; change management and learning and development. He has designed education and capacity-building programs for The Commonwealth of Learning, Commonwealth Secretariat, UNESCO, World Bank, World Intellectual Property Organization, EIT Heath and many other organizations. He has served as an advisor and mentor with many incubators and accelerators including: Founder Institute (US), Mass Challenge (US), TechStars (US), Volta Labs (Canada), Oxford University / OXENTIA (UK), EIT Health (UK, Europe), HubTec (Chile), Sri Lanka National Innovation Agency and more.

Alimatu Dimonekene is a globally recognized advocate for gender equity, social justice and community empowerment. As CEO and Founder of A Girl At A Time, (Sierra Leone, UK) Alimatu leads transformative initiatives to end gender-based violence, empower women and girls, and dismantle systemic barriers in underserved communities.

Alimatu has 30+ years of experience in advocacy, program development, and survivor-centered support. She has designed impactful programs, communications and partnerships that combine trauma-informed care with culturally adaptive strategies. Her leadership has directly impacted over 1,200 women and girls, fostering resilience and creating sustainable pathways to empowerment.  She was awarded an MBE by King Charles III for her contributions to women’s rights, driving legislative change, and amplifying local voices through grassroots advocacy. ​
